Prayagraj, January 10, 2025 – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated ‘Kumbhvani,’ a dedicated radio channel by All India Radio, at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela. Addressing the gathering, he invited those with a narrow view of Sanatan Dharma to witness the inclusivity of the Kumbh, emphasizing that it transcends caste, gender, and other divisions, promoting unity and spirituality.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years, is one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world, where millions of devotees come to bathe at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. This year’s event is expected to attract over 45 crore pilgrims, with major bathing rituals scheduled for January 14 (Makar Sankranti), January 29 (Mauni Amavasya), and February 3 (Basant Panchami).
