To initiate a voice chat, users simply need to swipe up in the group chat and hold for a few seconds. The voice chat will appear pinned at the bottom of the screen, letting members join or exit at their convenience without ringing alerts. This feature ensures smooth multitasking and minimal disruption. As always, WhatsApp has maintained its focus on privacy by securing these voice chats with end-to-end encryption.
