Paris, February 11, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Paris for a three-day visit, receiving a warm welcome from French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The leaders shared a friendly embrace, with President Macron saying, “Welcome to Paris, my friend.” PM Modi expressed his delight on social media, calling President Macron a “valued friend.”
During the visit, PM Modi will co-chair the AI Action Summit with President Macron, focusing on international collaboration in artificial intelligence for innovation and public welfare. The leaders will also hold bilateral talks on the 2047 Horizon Roadmap and address the India-France CEO’s Forum to strengthen economic ties. PM Modi also interacted with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who is attending the summit.
