Vijayawada, February 14 – The Vijayawada Metro Rail project is moving ahead quickly, with land acquisition plans for construction in the NTR district and Vijayawada city now finalized. Authorities have determined the areas requiring land for the project.
The metro will consist of two corridors: one from PNBS to Gannavaram and the other from PNBS to Penamaluru, with the first phase of construction set to begin soon. Revenue authorities have pinpointed land requirements in several key locations, including Patamata, Mogalrajapuram, Machavaram, Gunadala, and rural areas like Prasadampadu, Nidamanuru, and Enikepadu, where metro stations will be built.
