Guntur, February 13 – In the assault case involving Raghurama Krishna Raju, the Guntur court recorded his statement on Wednesday. Vijay Paul, a retired Additional SP linked to the incident, was granted conditional bail. Another accused, Kamepalli Tulasi Babu, was sent to 24 hours of police custody.
Vijay Paul’s defense highlighted his 78 days in jail and full interrogation during police custody. The court, led by the second Additional District Judge, Y. Nagaraja, granted him bail with conditions, warning that violations could result in revocation. Raghurama Krishna Raju’s statement was recorded by Guntur’s 5th Additional Junior Civil Judge, K. Latha.
