Hyderabad, February 12, 2025: Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama Chhaava, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is set to release on February 14. Inspired by the Marathi novel of the same name, the film has already generated significant buzz with promising advance bookings. Industry experts predict it could become one of the biggest openers of 2025.
According to Sacnilk, Chhaava has sold over 2 lakh tickets, grossing ₹5.77 crore in advance bookings. With block seats totaling ₹7.3 crore, the film is projected to earn ₹18–20 crore on its opening day. The movie will be screened in 7,483 shows across 6,540 theaters nationwide, signaling strong audience anticipation.
