Speaking at an event marking the 138th birth anniversary of Raja Mahendra Pratap, Dhankhar emphasized the need to address the grievances of farmers through constructive dialogue, rather than confrontation. He expressed concern over the unresolved issues impacting the agricultural community and urged the government to open channels for discussion.
His remarks come amid continued protests by farmers demanding better compensation and reforms under new agricultural policies. Dhankhar, acknowledging the critical role of farmers in India’s development, called for an approach based on mutual understanding, stressing that ignoring their concerns could lead to further unrest. He also pledged his support to farmers, committing to keep his door open for addressing their issues swiftly.
