Muscat, April 8, 2025 – Iran and the United States are set to begin indirect talks on Tehran’s nuclear program in Oman on April 12, with mediation by Oman. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that the discussions will focus on ensuring the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities and addressing ongoing concerns.
These talks, building on past diplomatic efforts like the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, aim to ease tensions and explore avenues for further cooperation between the U.S. and Iran regarding nuclear issues.
