New Delhi, February 13 – UPSC has opened applications for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2025. Candidates can apply online until March 4, 2025, with a correction window available from March 5-11, 2025. The exam offers 47 vacancies, with 12 for IES and 35 for ISS. Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old as of August 1, 2025, and meet the required educational qualifications.
The selection process includes a written exam (1,000 marks) and a viva voce (200 marks). The IES exam focuses on Economics, while the ISS exam covers Statistics and General Studies.
