    UP Economy Doubled Under Yogi Govt; Per Capita Income Surges to ₹1.24 Lakh

    Lucknow, April 14, 2025 – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that Uttar Pradesh’s economy and per capita income have more than doubled since 2017. The state’s GSDP grew from ₹12.75 lakh crore in 2016-17 to ₹27.5 lakh crore in 2024-25, showcasing significant economic progress during his tenure.

    He also highlighted a rise in per capita income from ₹46,000 to ₹1,24,000 over the same period. This growth, he said, was driven by investor-friendly policies and improved law and order, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key player in India’s economic development.
