Lucknow, May 19, 2025 – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting of the Cooperation Department to evaluate the progress of cooperative societies in the state. He stressed the need to strengthen these institutions to improve farmers’ welfare, enhance access to credit, and support agricultural and rural development. The CM called for faster implementation of reforms and emphasized transparency and efficiency within the cooperatives.
Yogi Adityanath also urged the department to prioritize digitalization and capacity-building initiatives for cooperative members to boost productivity and better serve rural communities. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering farmers through cooperative models aimed at increasing income and fostering sustainable growth across Uttar Pradesh.
