New Delhi, March 21, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured the Rajya Sabha that Naxalism will be eliminated by March 21, 2026, highlighting the government’s dedication to ensuring peace in affected regions. He noted the progress made by security forces in neutralizing Naxal operations and dismantling their networks.
Shah outlined the government’s comprehensive approach, which includes intensified security measures, development projects in Naxal-hit areas, and better intelligence sharing. He also emphasized collaboration with state governments to address the root causes of Naxalism and support the rehabilitation of affected communities.
