New Delhi, January 7 – U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval emphasized the importance of joint efforts in advancing strategic technologies to address global challenges. During their meeting in New Delhi, the leaders highlighted the need for secure, cost-effective solutions in sectors like space, semiconductors, biotechnology, clean energy, and cybersecurity.
Their discussions also focused on the U.S.-India initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET), launched in 2022, aimed at integrating technology and defense supply chains to create a resilient innovation base. Both leaders addressed national security concerns and commended progress in overcoming barriers to strategic trade and cooperation between the two nations.
