Tirumala, April 9, 2025: Even after a change in government, five Deputy Executive Officers (DyEOs) appointed during the previous YSRCP regime continue to hold key positions in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Only Asha Jyothi has returned to her parent department, while Gunabhushan Reddy remains in office despite a transfer order in March.
Crucial departments such as the Board Cell, Education, Manuscripts, Dharmic Prachara Parishad, and General Administration are still headed by officers from the previous regime. Venkateswarlu, overseeing Revenue, is the only DyEO appointed by the current coalition. Reports suggest several of these officers have backing from former YSRCP leaders and continue to control vital temple and pilgrim services.
