TTD Srivani Offline Darshan Tickets: A Special Counter Introduced for Devotees
Good news has come for devotees wishing to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala. TTD has set up a special counter for the offline allocation of Srivani darshan tickets. The counter was inaugurated by TTD Additional EO Venkayya Chowdary on Wednesday, behind the local Gokulam Meeting Hall. This new counter was set up to alleviate the difficulties faced by devotees during the rainy season at the existing counter.
Venkayya Chowdary mentioned that 900 tickets will be allocated offline daily. Previously, it took three to four minutes to allot a ticket, but now, with improvements in the application, tickets will be distributed in just one minute. He added that devotees can now easily obtain tickets from any of the five counters.
Rs. 2 Crore Gold Viajayanthi Mala Donation
In another development, DK Adikesavalu’s granddaughter, Tejaswi, made a significant donation to Lord Venkateswara. She presented a gold Viajayanthi Mala worth approximately Rs. 2 crore to the deity. The donation was handed over to TTD Chairman B. R. Naidu, who will have the Viajayanthi Mala adorning the Lord. On Friday, Tejaswi is also set to offer another Viajayanthi Mala to Goddess Padmavati in Tiruchanur.
Arvind Kejriwal Visits Tirumala with Family
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, along with his family, visited Tirumala to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara. After offering prayers, they received blessings from the priests, along with the deity’s holy prasadam. Kejriwal expressed his prayers for the country’s prosperity, wishing for the happiness of all people. He also extended wishes to children on the occasion of Children’s Day.
Minister Kolu Ravindra Visits Tirumala
Minister Kolu Ravindra also visited Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. He stated that during the previous YSR Congress government, several misdeeds occurred in Tirumala, but after the formation of the current coalition government, the sanctity of the place has been restored. He expressed satisfaction in receiving the Lord’s prasad and mentioned that he prayed for employment opportunities for the youth in the state.
