Vance as “very capable” but clarified that it is “too soon” to consider endorsing him for the 2028 presidential race. Trump emphasized that while Vance is doing an excellent job as vice president, there are many capable individuals within the party, and it is premature to discuss potential successors.
Trump’s comments came in response to questions about Vance’s future in the party. While he refrained from naming Vance as his successor, he expressed confidence in Vance’s abilities and stated that it is still early in the process to make any decisions regarding the 2028 election.
