The facility will produce 2.7 million metric tons of steel annually and create over 1,400 jobs, supporting Hyundai’s automotive plants in Alabama and Georgia.
Part of Hyundai’s $21 billion U.S. expansion, this investment focuses on vehicle production and advanced technologies like AI and robotics. Trump credited his administration’s tariff policies for attracting foreign investments into American industries.
