Tirupati, December 6, 2024: A new chapter in connectivity was opened today with the launch of direct flight services from Tirupati to Singapore. The inaugural flight, operated by MS Lux Aviation, took off at 5 a.m. from Renigunta Airport, marking a significant milestone for the region. This new service is expected to provide more convenient access for pilgrims traveling to Tirupati, particularly those coming from Singapore.
Until now, international visitors coming to Tirupati had to first land in cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, or Hyderabad before making their way to Renigunta to visit the famous Lord Venkateswara Temple. The introduction of a direct flight from Tirupati to Singapore has been welcomed by both locals and international devotees, providing a much-needed ease of travel for overseas pilgrims.
Devotees, especially those from Singapore, expressed their happiness and excitement over the new service, as it will significantly reduce travel time and make the pilgrimage experience more comfortable. The direct flight service is expected to strengthen the cultural and religious ties between India and Singapore, making it easier for devotees to visit the temple in Tirupati.
