
Tirupati, February 17, 2025 — The International Temple Conference and Exhibition 2025 (ITCX) kicked off today in Tirupati, aiming to emphasize the role of temples in India’s economic development, aligned with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a “Developed India.” This event follows the success of the first Temple Mahakumbh held in Varanasi in 2023.
Held at the Asha Convention Center, the conference will host 111 delegates from 1,581 temples across 58 countries. Dignitaries like Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the event, which includes workshops and stalls promoting global temple collaboration. In Tirumala, devotees without tokens faced 8-hour waits for the “Sarvadarshan” on Sunday, with 79,705 visitors attending the temple.
