Tirumala, February 4, 2025 – The Ratha Saptami festival has begun in Tirumala with Lord Malayappa Swami’s procession through the streets on seven vehicles, starting with the Suryaprabha Vahanam. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) arranged shelters, food counters, and LED screens to ensure devotees’ comfort during the festivities.
Arasavalli – At the Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Arasavalli, devotees gathered early for Lord Surya’s blessings. Principal Secretary Vinay Chand offered silk clothes to the deity, and Union Minister Rammohan Naidu, along with other political leaders, performed special prayers, highlighting the government’s special arrangements for the festival this year.
