Washington, D.C., February 14 – TikTok has been reinstated on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the U.S. following President Donald Trump’s decision to delay a ban on the platform. The delay comes after a law requiring TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, to divest its U.S. operations. President Trump granted a 75-day reprieve, allowing TikTok to continue operating while discussions continue.
Users can now download and access TikTok again, as the U.S. Department of Justice assured Apple and Google they would not face penalties for hosting the app during the delay period. The situation remains uncertain as talks about TikTok’s future in the U.S. are ongoing.
