Mumbai, March 7, 2025: Tesla has taken a major step into the Indian market by securing a 4,000-sq ft showroom in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Led by Elon Musk, the EV giant will pay over ₹35 lakh per month for the space, following discussions between Musk and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reports suggest Tesla is also finalizing showroom locations in New Delhi and Mumbai.
Alongside its expansion, Tesla has listed nearly two dozen job openings in India across vehicle service, sales, and operations. Roles such as Service Advisor and Store Manager highlight the company’s hiring push. Tesla’s growing presence is expected to boost EV adoption and create new job opportunities in India.
