Shenzhen, March 22, 2025 – Tencent has launched its T1 reasoning model, strengthening its position in China’s competitive AI market. The model enhances response speed and text-processing capabilities while reducing hallucinations, building on Tencent’s AI advancements.
Following the recent launch of its Turbo S foundational model, Tencent claims T1 surpasses DeepSeek’s R1 in processing speed. With increasing AI investments, the company plans further capital expenditure in 2025 after substantial spending in 2024.
