Dubai, March 4, 2025 – The Indian cricket team paid tribute to the late Padmakar Shivalkar by wearing black armbands during their ICC Champions Trophy semifinal against Australia. Shivalkar, a legendary Mumbai cricket spinner, passed away on March 3 at the age of 84.
Though he never played for India internationally, Shivalkar had an exceptional domestic career, taking 589 wickets in 124 first-class matches.
