Chennai, January 9, 2025: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M. K. Stalin, has announced a financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for the family of the victim who lost their life in the tragic stampede that took place at the Vaikuntha Dwaram token issuing center in Tirupati. Expressing his grief over the unfortunate incident, the Chief Minister extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
Stalin also offered his support to the injured victims, ensuring that they would receive the necessary medical assistance. His announcement comes after six people lost their lives and dozens more were injured in the stampede at the token counter on Wednesday night. The Tamil Nadu government has committed to providing aid to the affected families during this difficult time.
