Araku, January 7 – Supreme Court Judge Justice Sanjiv Khanna, along with 25 other Supreme Court judges, is scheduled to visit Araku in the Alluri Sitaramaraju district on January 12, as confirmed by ITDA PO Abhishek. On Monday, the PO, along with Chodavaram 9th Additional Sessions Judge Ratnakumar and District Joint Collector Abhishek Gowda, visited the Tribal Museum in Araku to review the arrangements. During their visit, the judges will also examine the Giri Village Tourism Centre and other local sites.
The judges are expected to assess the living conditions of the local tribal communities and observe the area’s situation firsthand. After visiting the Giri Haritha Hill Resorts for rest, they will proceed to visit the Borra Caves before heading to Visakhapatnam. The PO announced that due to the judges’ visit, public access to the Tribal Museum and Giri Village Tourism Centre will be restricted on January 12.
