Hyderabad, February 18, 2025: Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated film, ‘SSMB 29,’ directed by Rajamouli, is back in production after a brief hiatus. The film had paused when Priyanka Chopra took time off to attend her brother’s wedding, but she has now returned, and the team has resumed shooting. The movie is being filmed on a specially designed set, with international shoots planned for the summer.
There were initial reports about Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran being a part of the project, but it’s now confirmed that John Abraham has been cast in his place. This will be Abraham’s debut in a Telugu film. Priyanka Chopra has reportedly completed her look test for the film, though the team has yet to make an official statement regarding her role.
