Srisailam, February 27, 2025 – The Maha Shivaratri celebrations at Srisailam Mallanna temple drew lakhs of devotees, who took a holy dip in Patala Ganga and participated in various rituals. The grand Prabhotsavam, Nandi Vahana Seva, and the Paga Alankarana, featuring a 365-foot ceremonial garland, were key highlights. The celestial wedding of Goddess Bhramaramba and Lord Mallikarjuna attracted thousands of devotees.
The festivities included the Maha Rudrabhishekam and Lingodbhava Kala rituals, performed with Vedic chants for over four hours. Lord Mallikarjuna and Goddess Bhramaramba were elegantly adorned, symbolizing their sacred union, while devotees endured long queues to fulfill their vows and seek divine blessings.
