Srikakulam, January 31, 2025: Engineering students are leveraging advanced technology to create impactful projects. Recently, the Superintendent of Police (SP) encouraged students to develop a website to enhance accessibility to police services. Among the many projects presented, a website developed by Korikana Naveen, a final-year B.Tech student from Sri Venkateswara Engineering College, was selected and later inaugurated by the SP.
Naveen, from Kesripadu village in Kanchili Mandal, spent five months developing the Srikakulam District Police website. Balancing his college studies, he worked late every day to complete the project. With guidance from the SP and support from the National Informatics Centre (NIC), the website was successfully launched at https://srikakulampolice.ap.gov.in/.
