Chennai, March 29: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) head coach Stephen Fleming admitted the team’s struggle to utilize home conditions at Chepauk after their 50-run loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). He noted that CSK has faced difficulties in reading the pitch in recent seasons, affecting their performance.
This defeat was CSK’s first home loss to RCB since 2008 and their biggest margin of defeat at Chepauk. Fleming emphasized the need to adapt to changing pitch conditions, stating that relying solely on spin is no longer effective.
