Tirupati, February 17, 2025 — The SIT is investigating the adulteration of ghee used in Tirumala laddus, focusing on AR Dairy, Vaishnavi Dairy, and Bole Baba Dairy. Key figures, including AR Dairy’s MD Raju Rajasekharan and Bole Baba Dairy’s directors, were questioned about discrepancies in shipment bills and trip receipts.
The probe also targets a conspiracy to supply low-quality ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at reduced prices. Raids in Uttarakhand have uncovered vital evidence, with nine suspects identified. The accused were transferred to Tirupati East Police Station for further legal action.
