    Siraj-ul-Haq Criticizes Government Over Education Failures, Leads Protest in Karachi

    Karachi, January 25, 2025: Jamaat-e-Islami President Siraj-ul-Haq staged a sit-in protest in Karachi to raise awareness about Pakistan’s education crisis. The protest highlighted the lack of quality education in public schools and the widening gap between urban and rural education facilities. Siraj-ul-Haq criticized the government for neglecting the sector and called for reforms to ensure education access for all children, irrespective of their socio-economic status.

    The protest also addressed the issue of millions of out-of-school children in Pakistan. Siraj-ul-Haq and other leaders urged the government to increase the education budget, improve infrastructure, and train teachers, aiming to make education a fundamental right and resolve the sector’s systemic issues.
