Ahmedabad, May 23, 2025 – Rising star Sai Sudharsan has expressed delight over his selection for the India A tour of England, viewing it as a significant step in his cricketing journey. Despite the excitement, the Gujarat Titans opener remains focused on finishing the ongoing IPL season strong. Currently leading the run charts with 638 runs in 13 games, Sudharsan’s stellar form has not only driven his team’s playoff push but also captured the attention of national selectors.
The India A squad is set to play two first-class matches against the England Lions, followed by an intra-squad game against the senior Indian team. Sudharsan, who is expected to join the squad after the IPL final, has prior experience in English conditions through his stint with Surrey, where he scored a century.
