New Delhi, May 19, 2025 – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the extended application window for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2025 today. The deadline, originally May 11, was extended to give more candidates a chance to apply for 9,970 vacancies across various railway zones. Candidates who haven’t applied yet are advised to register on the official website before the deadline.
Eligibility requires passing Class 10 with an ITI certificate, a three-year engineering diploma, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with age between 18 and 30 years as of July 1, 2025. The selection involves two Computer-Based Tests, followed by document verification and a medical exam. The application fee ranges from Rs 250 to Rs 500, refundable after the first test. The application correction window will be open from May 22 to May 31.
