New Delhi, January 25, 2025: The Republic Day Parade 2025, set for January 26 at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, will showcase the theme “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat Aur Vikas,” celebrating India’s heritage and progress. Sixteen States and Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh with its eco-friendly Etikoppaka wooden toys and Uttar Pradesh with Mahakumbh 2025, will present vibrant tableaux. Other highlights include Gujarat’s “Swarnim Bharat,” Karnataka’s tribute to Lakkundi’s stone craft, and Tripura’s Kharchi Puja celebrations.
Ten Union Ministries and Departments will also participate, presenting initiatives like the Ministry of Tribal Affairs’ “Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh” and the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy’s focus on sustainable development. The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment will celebrate the Indian Constitution as a cornerstone of progress. These displays aim to capture the essence of India’s cultural diversity and developmental strides.
