Hyderabad, April 2, 2025: The highly anticipated period drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu, is making waves. Following the title and first-look reveal on Ram Charan’s birthday, the makers announced that T-Series has acquired the film’s music rights, reportedly for ₹25 crore—the highest in Charan’s career.
Adding to the excitement, a special video glimpse will be released on April 6 for Sri Rama Navami. The film, featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyenndu, has A.R. Rahman composing the music. Cinematographer Rathnavelu revealed that a key sequence was shot using negative reels for a natural effect. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is set for a 2026 release.
