Prakasam, April 2, 2025: TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh laid the foundation stone for Reliance New Energy’s Integrated Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Divakarapalli, Prakasam district. The ₹139 crore project, spanning 497 acres, aims to boost industrial development in the region. The ceremony was attended by Reliance Industries officials, including PMS Prasad and Harindra K. Tripathi.
With a 100-ton capacity, this plant is the first of 500 CBG facilities Reliance plans to establish across the state. Lokesh highlighted the project’s potential to drive economic growth, create jobs, and position Prakasam as a key player in the renewable energy sector.
