    PM Modi, Political Leaders Honor Martyrs on 23rd Anniversary of 2001 Parliament Attack

    New Delhi, December 13, 2024: On the 23rd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, and several other political leaders paid tribute to the security personnel who lost their lives while defending the Indian Parliament. The attack, carried out by militants from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, resulted in the deaths of nine individuals, including members of the Delhi Police, CRPF, and Parliament Security Service.

    In a solemn ceremony, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other political leaders also paid their respects. They emphasized the nation’s unwavering resolve to fight terrorism and honor the sacrifices made by the fallen personnel. Prime Minister Modi shared a heartfelt message, lauding the courage of the martyrs and reinforcing India’s commitment to combat terrorism.
