Visakhapatnam, January 8, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Visakhapatnam for his second trip to Andhra Pradesh after securing a third term. During this visit, PM Modi is laying the foundation stone for the long-awaited Visakhapatnam Railway Zone and dedicating several important railway and road projects to the nation. A major highlight was a grand roadshow from Siripuram Junction to AU Engineering College Grounds, with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan joining PM Modi to display political unity.
PM Modi will also virtually inaugurate significant projects, including the NTPC Integrated Green Hydrogen Hub in Anakapalli district with an investment of Rs. 1.85 lakh crore, the Krishna Patnam Industrial Hub with Rs. 1,500 crore, and the Nakkapalli Pharmaceutical Park with Rs. 1,800 crore. Additionally, he will lay the foundation for the Krishna Patnam Industrial Area in Tirupati district, part of the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor. These projects are expected to boost Andhra Pradesh’s infrastructure and economic development.
