New Delhi, May 27, 2025 – Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of major development projects valued at ₹5,536 crores. Among the key initiatives announced was the construction of 22,000 housing units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), aimed at providing affordable and quality homes to economically weaker sections across the country. These projects are expected to boost infrastructure growth and improve living standards for thousands of families.
The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to inclusive development and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fulfilling the vision of ‘Housing for All.’ The projects also include upgrades in urban infrastructure, healthcare, and public amenities, which will contribute to the socio-economic progress of the regions involved. Shri Modi called upon all stakeholders to work collaboratively to ensure timely and effective implementation of these schemes, fostering sustainable growth and improving citizens’ quality of life.
