Bangkok, April 4, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Myanmar’s Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok. He expressed deep condolences over the recent devastating earthquake in Myanmar and assured that India is providing all possible assistance to support the affected communities during this critical time.
The leaders also discussed enhancing bilateral relations, focusing on connectivity, capacity building, and infrastructure development. Prime Minister Modi reiterated India’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Myanmar across various sectors to promote regional stability and development.
