    Dublin, January 24, 2025: Micheál Martin has been re-elected as the Prime Minister of Ireland, securing a second term after a parliamentary vote on Thursday. Martin, leader of the Fianna Fáil party, received 95 votes in favor and 76 against his nomination, leading a coalition government that includes Fianna Fáil, its historic rival Fine Gael, and independent lawmakers.

    In response to Martin’s re-election, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations, expressing a commitment to further strengthen the bilateral partnership between India and Ireland.
