Pawan Kalyan Slams YSRCP, Says Opposition Status Not a Demand but a Mandate

Amaravati, February 24, 2025: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan criticized YSRCP leaders for their behavior during the Governor’s address, calling it disgraceful. He stated that opposition status is determined by the people’s mandate and not by demand, urging YSRCP to accept that they will not have it for the next five years.

Kalyan reminded that if YSRCP had secured one more seat than the Jana Sena Party, they would have gained opposition status. He emphasized that Jana Sena is now the second-largest party in the Assembly and condemned YSRCP’s disruption of the Governor’s speech. He advised them to act with dignity and clarified that speaking time in the Assembly would be based on party strength.
