    Nitin Gadkari Announces Completion of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in 3 Months

    New Delhi, December 13, 2024: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has announced that the much-awaited Delhi-Dehradun Expressway will be completed within the next three months. This expressway, a major infrastructure project, is set to significantly reduce travel time between Delhi and Dehradun, providing a seamless and faster route for commuters.

    The expressway, once completed, will enhance connectivity between the national capital and the hill station of Dehradun, promoting both tourism and trade. Gadkari emphasized that the project would be a game-changer in terms of road infrastructure, with improved safety features and modern amenities. The expressway is expected to cut down travel time by more than half, from around 6 hours to just 2.5 hours.

    This development comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve the country’s road infrastructure. Gadkari expressed confidence that the expressway will not only benefit commuters but will also boost economic activity in the region. The project is part of a broader plan to modernize India’s transportation network, ensuring smoother and faster connectivity across the country.
