
Bokaro, January 4, 2025: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted coordinated raids across several Naxal-affected villages in Bokaro district, Jharkhand. Eight specialized teams were deployed to investigate and dismantle Naxalite networks operating in the region.
The operations primarily focused on Jhumra Pahad and its surrounding villages, including Vhatro Chatti, Rajderba, Lodhi, Cheyatand, and Haryidmo, all of which have been identified as strongholds for Naxal activities. The NIA’s efforts aim to uncover critical evidence and disrupt the operations of these insurgent groups.
Bokaro Superintendent of Police Manoj Swargiari stated that the raids are part of a larger initiative to investigate and dismantle Naxalite organizations and their associates. The NIA teams have already uncovered significant evidence that could lead to further arrests and breakthroughs in the investigation. These actions highlight the continued commitment of law enforcement agencies to combat Naxal insurgency and maintain peace and security in the region.
