
Shimla/Hyderabad, March 29: Himachal Pradesh and Telangana have signed an MoU to develop the 400 MW Seli and 120 MW Miyar Hydroelectric Projects in Lahaul-Spiti. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Telangana Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
The projects will follow a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model, utilizing Himachal’s hydropower resources to meet Telangana’s clean energy needs. This collaboration aims to strengthen energy security for both states and promote sustainable energy solutions.
