Undavalli, January 7 – An agreement has been signed between Suzlon Energy Limited and the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to launch the country’s largest wind energy skill development program in Andhra Pradesh. The MoU was signed in the presence of Nara Lokesh at his residence in Undavalli. The initiative aims to establish Andhra Pradesh as a hub for wind energy skills over the next four years.
As part of the program, 12,000 individuals will be trained in key sectors such as mechanical, electrical, blade technology, civil, and licensing, with the support of Suzlon. The primary goal of this agreement is to enhance employment opportunities in the growing renewable energy sector. This initiative will play a crucial role in strengthening the state’s position in the wind energy industry while fostering job creation.
