    Naidu Targets Jagan Over Religious Discord, Announces Fishermen Welfare Sub-Panel

    Amaravati, April 15, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, following a cabinet meeting, accused Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of creating communal unrest through caste and religious issues, citing the Tirupati Gosala incident, Pastor Praveen’s death, and the Waqf Board Bill. He urged ministers to actively counter these developments and raise public awareness.

    Naidu also addressed concerns over bureaucratic corruption, stating such discussions should not dominate administrative functioning. He emphasized ministerial vigilance and departmental responsibility. The cabinet approved an ordinance for SC categorization and proposed a sub-committee for the Fishermen Welfare Scheme.
