Mumbai: The first underground metro rail in the Maharashtra capital is all set to begin operations for the general public starting today, October 7. The Mumbai Metro Line 3 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5 and MetroConnect3 app was also launched for the commuters. Mumbai Metro Line 3: Corridor, Route and Stations
The Mumbai Metro Line 3 corridor is from BKC to Aarey and it includes a total of ten metro stations and will run 96 services daily. This metro line also connects terminals 1 and 2 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and links to Ghatkopar-Andheri-Versova Metro Line 1 at Marol Naka Station. The ten metro stations are –

Mumbai Metro Line 3: Timings, Ticket Price
The minimum price of the ticket is Rs 10 while the maximum is Rs 50.
The operations at this line begin at 6:30 am and the last train goes at 10:30 pm. The operations begin two hours later than usual on Sunday, i.e. the first train starts at 8:30 am. One train comes at every 3-4 minutes and runs at an average speed of 35 kmph, maximum speed being 85 kmph.
Timings of Mumbai Metro Line 3: The first train will begin operations from 6:30 am; the last at 10.30 pm. On Sundays, the first service will commence at 8.30 am. Train frequency is estimated to be about 3-4 minutes.Fares of Mumbai Metro Line 3: The minimum fare on the line will be ₹10, while the maximum will be ₹50.
