    MUDA Scam Probe: ED Seizes Original Documents Related to Siddaramaiah’s Wife

    Mysuru: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized the original documents related to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathamma.  
    As per sources, both the documents with and without whiteout have been acquired by the ED.  

    After yesterday’s ED questioning, the original documents without whiteout were handed over by the officials.

    ED Grills Devaraj

    A team of four ED sleuths raided the house of J Devaraj, fourth accused in the MUDA scam, at Kengeri in Bengaluru yesterday. 

    Devaraj is the original owner of the site of Muda CM case and was questioned as he had sold 3.16 acres of land to CM’s brother-in-law, Mallikarjun, who then gifted it to Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvathi.

    The search was conducted for more than 12 hours. 

    Devaraj was reportedly questioned by Ed officials till late in his residence. 

    The officials questioned him about the entire sale process. Devaraj’s family members were at home during the raid.

    ED Continues Investigation on Muda Scam Case

    On Friday, The Enforcement Directorate raided the Mysuru Urban Development Authority and Mysuru Taluk Office, searching for documents in connection with the alleged land allotment case.

    Two teams of ED officials, consisting of over 10 personnel each, raided the MUDA office on Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Road and the Taluk Office at Nazarbad around 11 am. 

    Strict security arrangements were made as the FD officials were accompanied by CRPF soldiers to ensure a smooth search. Local police ensured that nobody from outside enters the office premises.

    Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his wife, BM Parvathi, are facing a money laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the MUDA case. The allegations revolve around compensatory sites allotted to Parvathi in an upscale Mysuru area, which had a higher property value compared to the land acquired by MUDA.
